Two decades ago, the International Medical Centre (IMC) opened its doors to Ugandans to offer quality primary healthcare services in response to the population’s needs. The first IMC, at the then Kampala Pentecostal Church building opened its doors in 1996, following the founding Chairman, Dr Ian Clarke’s move from Kiwoko, Luwero to Kampala. Dr Clarke had spent time in Luwero as a missionary setting up a hospital before deciding
to move to Kampala. All clinic operations were restricted to two rooms only. From the KPC / Watoto building..
IMC Lubowa is moving to a new location for easy accessibility and better service and this will be with a different name “IMC Entebbe Road”
